How do I care for my earrings?

  • Your earrings should be stored in a cool place away from heat and moisture. If they get lint or dirt on them, it is safe to lightly clean with a soft, damp cloth.

  • Earrings should never be immersed in water.

  • Avoid storing them in a place that they can easily get scratched by harder materials.

  • While polymer clay is a flexible material, we strongly recommend that you do not bend your clay earrings. Treat them as you would any other jewelry item. They can wear down over time if not taken care of properly.

What are your earrings made of?

Jewelry items are generally created from popular brands of clay like Sculpey. Once completely cured via baking, the earrings are very durable and lightweight. Some items are sealed using resin giving it a shiny clear surface.

What jewelry material is used?

Typically surgical stainless steal is used. Gold items are coated in 14K gold. If you have allergies please contact The Clayful Ladybug before ordering. Sterling silver options are available (At an additional cost).

  • If an item arrives broken or damaged please e-mail The Clayful Ladybug within one week and we can replace the item. To receive a replacement or refund a picture must be sent of the broken item. Dependent on the style of earring we will try to replace the item or give you a refund for the price of the earrings. Shipping fee may not be refunded.

  • Please note some items can tarnish over time and or can be dependent on how they are cared for. We will not replace or refund items for tarnishing, or for allergic reactions to metals.

  • Clay jewelry items are made by hand, minor imperfections are inevitable. We do not refund or exchange earrings for minor detail imperfections, but know items would not be sent that are not up to my standards. Once orders are processed, orders may not be cancelled.

Local pickup or delivery is available for the Salem/Albany area in Oregon. When checking out you can select the local pickup/delivery option.

  • I will contact you once your order is placed for pickup or delivery depending on where you are located. Delivery or pickup will be arranged within 7 days of your order being placed.

  • Pickup can be done in Albany, OR. I will contact you once your order is placed with further details.

  • Delivery can be done in Salem or Albany if needed. (Dependent on location, small delivery fee may be applied)
